Colby Day

Colby Day is a writer and director for film and theater. Pipeline produced the world premiere of his play Felix & The Diligence: A Play About Fishermen in the 1940’s, which has also been performed as a high school production in Vermont. Other productions include his one-acts: A Boy & His Unicorn (Fourteen Out of Ten), Sir Ronald deMimsy Esq., Desert Explorer (The Three Leaches) and monologue A Dramatic/Comedic Monologue For Any Occasion (Pipeline). He co-wrote the feature film I Don’t Want to Kill Myself, and has won several screenwriting awards for his short screenplay A Slightly Exaggerated Love Story. Colby also used to work for Comedy Central, where he never once slept under his desk, and produced Psycho Beach Party and Fat Kids on Fire for Pipeline.
