Jenny Beth Snyder is working with Pipeline for the first time this February as production manager for Beardo. Jenny is a Tennessee born, New York based theater director, producer, and co-founder of theater company Fresh Ground Pepper NYC. Her most recent collaboration with the Shelter Theater company brought you the Red Room by Morgan McGuire. Jenny Beth holds a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the arts. Pipeline Theatre Company: What attracted you to Beardo? What made you want to work on this project?
Jenny Beth Snyder: I’ve followed Pipeline’s work for awhile and have always admired the company. This seemed like a great first partnership.
PTC: Why do you perform the role you perform? Why production management?
JBS: I like making sense out of chaos, and I love looking at something and think- that’s impossible. And then say, okay great, let’s do this.
PTC: If you ruled the world, what would you be remembered for?
JBS: Looking at impossible things and finding possibility.
PTC: Why should someone who has no connection to this show or its artists come see the show?
JBS: Because it is going to be a feat of great magnitude.
