JT Headshot

JT Friedman is a New York City-based theatre director. He is drawn to work that examines the human capacity for empathy in spite of an often bleak and brutal world. He is most interested in exploring that idea through stories about queer life, American life, and the collision of the two. Recent directing projects include The All and the Nothing (Exquisite Corpse Company) and Sarah Kane’s BLASTED (Fordham Theatre Co.) JT has had the great fortune of working closely in an administrative role with several of the finest Off-Broadway theatre companies, including Soho Rep, The Atlantic, and is now thrilled to be on staff at Pipeline. Proud alumnus of the directing program at Fordham University.
