Ari Schrier is a founding member of Pipeline Theatre Company served as Artistic Director from 2013-2019, after serving from 2010-2013 as Director of Artistic Development. With Pipeline she has worked as an actor, director, playwright, and producer and developed Pipeline’s second stage programming from the ground up. From 2011 – 2015, Ari also served as the Member Engagement Coordinator and then Marketing & PR Manager for the National Guild for Community Arts Education where she produced professional development and networking events across the country. She now works as Senior Program Director for Tutor Associates where she works closely with families and students to develop learning programs that best suit their needs. Ari speaks regularly on the topics of nonprofit management, founding a theater company, theater production, and leadership at the Commercial Theater Institute, Atlantic Theatre Company, ART/New York, NYU, and Columbia University. In 2017, Ari was named a 40 Under 40 Rising Star in the New York nonprofit sector by NYN Media. In September 2019, Ari will begin working toward her Masters Degree in International Affairs, Human Rights, and Humanitarianism at Columbia University.
