This year, the PlayLab writers based their plays on 7 works of poetry. The result took our audience on an exploration of childhood and wonder, love and matrimony, death and loss, and all those many strange colors in between. The event took place at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the historic home for groundbreaking works of poetry, music, theater, and visual arts.
