Jessika Doyel is a freelance director and producer hailing from Nashville, TN. In NYC, she is on staff at the Atlantic Theater Company serving as the school Associate Producer and teaching artist. Producing credits include Abby Rosebrock’s Singles in Agriculture at the Brick, developmental workshops of Nate Weida’s folk opera, I’s Twinkle, at Judson Church as well What We Remember… with Pipeline Theatre Company, where she is an Artistic Associate. Jessika also produces and curates 5 evenings of short plays per year with NYU and the Atlantic Acting School. Recent directing and assisting credits include: Public readings of A.P. Andrews’ Optimism, Or and Scott McCarrey’s Mystery of F*cking at Judson Church with Pipeline PlayLab, TEN (Partial Comfort Productions) , The Ash Girl (Pipeline Theatre Company), Orange Flower Water (Atlantic Stage 2), And Miles to Go (dir. Hal Brooks), The Caucasian Chalk Circle (dir. Anya Saffir),The Thirteenth Commandment (dir. Tom Costello). Jessika is a member of Pipeline Theatre Company and Partial Comfort Productions as well as a graduate of the Atlantic Acting School. Guilty pleasures are: writing letters, eating cold dark chocolate and dreaming of working on silent films with James Thierree.
