Meet the New Clowns
Ben Langhorst (Thumbs Understudy)
Ben Langhorst is a drama major, studying acting at the Playwrights Horizons Theater School (PHTS), at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Previous credits at NYU include Three Sisters, Measure for Measure, Ten Blocks on the Camino Real, The Twisted State, as well as Uncle Giff’s Christmas Special and The Museum is Closed for a Private Function, original works created at PHTS. In his final semester this fall, Ben will be workshopping his own original musical, Life and Other Variations.
Michael Lorz (Swing)
Michael Lorz recently graduated from NYU – CAP21. Previous credits include NYMF’s Swiss Family Robinson, FringeNYC’s America’s Breath of Fresh Air, and the BASiC Theatre Company’s Gross Indecency. He also has done his fair share of children’s theatre with Making Books Sing, which has really prepared him for the G-Rated nature of Clown Bar…
Iris McQuillan-Grace (Swing)
Iris McQuillan-Grace is an actor and teaching artist. She has a BA from Emerson College and an MFA from the New School for Drama. In NYC she has worked with NYTW, EST/Youngblood, HERE arts, New Georges, Tiny Rhino, Naked Angels and now, with the fantastic cast and crew of Clown Bar! She also is a volunteer for Co/Lab a group dedicated to drama outreach for the developmentally disabled. Upcoming roles: Lucetta in Two Gentleman of Verona ( Shakespeare on the Sound).
Cyndi Perczek (Popo)
Cyndi Perczek is delighted to join the cast of Clown Bar. Recent credits include: Plum de Force (Bushwick Starr), Onthefloor (Ace Hotel), Drunkfish Oceanrant (JACK, Dixon Place), Without Me (BAX), War Lesbian (Prelude Festival), Political Subversities (The PIT, UCBT, Ars Nova). She is a member of The Dance Cartel, Political Subversities and regularly performs with Haruna Lee. She also teaches preschool and creative drama in Brooklyn. Education: BFA-NYU- ETW, MS-EDU THTR-CCNY.
Gianmarco Soresi (Swing)
Gianmarco Soresi is an actor, stand-up comedian and writer. Recent film credits include Small Miracles (Starring Judd Hirsch), Blue Bloods (CBS), Stalked (Investigation Discovery), and a PNC bank commercial in which he wore a full-body dog costume for the entire two-day shoot. Onstage, he performed in the the New York premiere of Lucas Hnath’s Odile’s Ordeal (Drama Book Shop After Hours Series), a 100-person Spoon River (Columbia Stages) and I Wish You a Boat (Ward Studio Company). He has performed stand-up at Caroline’s Comedy, The Metropolitan Room and UCB.
Eric Williams (Swing)
Eric Williams’ New York theater credits includes From Rodgers to Heart at Joe’s Pub (Sutton Foster, dir.), Ghost of Dracula (FringeNYC), BYUIOO (Pipeline Theater Co.), The Berenstain Bears Live! (Off-Broadway/National Tour), and Toe Pick! (Ars Nova). He also recently appeared in the film Fantastic Adventures of Foolish Gentleman. BFA NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
