Founded in Fall of 2010, the Bower Group is a non-profit theater company dedicated to creating theater that encourages a deeper investment in the world. They believe in plays that are truthful, human and imaginative, with a keen sense of the whimsical.
Their work and interests span the range from re-imagined classics to contemporary plays to original work, and have been seen in such places as Atlantic Stage 2, Theater for the New City, New York Theatre Workshop, the Connelly Theatre and Roy Arias Theaters.
Company members include Jamie Bock, Jeremy Boros, Michael Cannon, Rachel Chatham, Jon Cicoski, Brittany Crowell, Ryan Ettinger, Ellie Johnson, Madeleine Lodge, Elizabeth Norton, Erik Olson, Kelsey Schroth, Rosemary Shemesh, Zach Szofer, Daniel Tepper, Rebecca Vineyard, and Eric Williams.
